I hate One-Ways!!

My 1way on my 660 decided to crap on me, I can still start it but it clunks and freewheels all the time...I was just about to buy a piston and cam but now ill have to throw away 250 or so to fix it...I will probably get the L&L but it'll be spring when I buy it (cold weather + no heated garage = no winter builds)...after the 1way endevor ill hopefully get an 11:1 wiseco plus a satge 1 hotcam, it should give her a nice little boost.

It's the starter. They go out on raptors all the time, look at mine I have maybe 40 hours or so on my bike and its already about done. The L&A or L&L is supposed to be unbreakable. It costs a good deal though.

Thats rediculous, I can't believe they wouldn't have gotten that figured out before they releashed it.  Well I hope you can get a better switch in there so you don't have that problem.  ~Jay

its extremely rediculous...yamaha fixed the problem for the 04-05 models but 01-03 are pretty much screwed.

The raptors always had starter issues! They are not cheap not replace either. Yamaha got on it though so its all fixed now. just have to worry about the early year raptors.
