New Ryde FX Piggyback shocks

I came across these shocks on Team AmsOil at Eagle River.  I'm pretty sure these are Ryde Fx's version of the floats, but I don't have any info on them.

They look alright to me, but I'd like to hear more info on them.  Anyone know about them?

Jay

Those were on Mike Schultz' IQ last year..Pretty wierd looking, like they are just a regular shock missing a spring...

If I recall basically a coil shock with no spring on them, for what they need there are some advantages and disadvantages for doing that some think its better only feeling the valving of the shock. Its a pretty different set up though from what the coil shock brings to the table.
