Well as I posted on yfzcentral here's the story of getting shot at work back in novermber....   

me and a co-worker got shot while working monday night at a gas station, I've been working there for over 8 years and we've been robbed at gun point 2 times before this but no one ever got hurt well this time was a lil different, It happened last monday night about 9 pm in Duluth MN where I live a young black male (regular customer) came in and asked my co-worker for change for a dollar so he gave it to him then the kid started walking around the store, probably cause there were customers in the store at the time one was a friend of ours, then the kid walked outside and as soon as our friend that was there left the kid came back in and walked around the counters and as soon as the last customer walked out the door I just heard some loud bangs and I fell on the ground as my co worker jumped over the counter and ran out the door, I got shot twice in the back from about 2 feet away he tried to shoot me 3 times but somehow missed the third shot and as my co-worker jumped over the counter the kid ran around and shot him 3 times in the back as he ran out the door, then while i was laying on the ground not moving kinda playing dead I guess I heard the cash register open and I figured I didnt wanna get shot anymore so I jumped up and ran away from the shooter as I jumped up he ran out the store so I walked up grabbed the phone dialed 911 and walked to the sub shop next door where there let me in till the cops came, my co-worker ran all the way across the avenue to the next gas station which is about a block away and had them call the cops while waiting for the ambulance to get there I was sure that I was gonna die cause I couldn't breathe because I had a collapsed lung.. so when we got to the hospital I found out that only 1 bullet as still in me 1 went in at an angle and came right back out not doing much damage but the other went through my shoulder blade through a rib collapsed my lung and is stuck in my T7 vertabra so they decided not to do surgery cause it is too close to my spine and it could do more damage tryin to remove it than just leaving it in, as for my co-worker one grazed him just leaving a gash in his back and 1 entered by his shoulder going down at an angle but hit nothing which he had surgery to remove that one and his other one they left in because it is 4 cm from his heart so they said like in my case it would just be better to leave them in there.. they caught the kid the next day and are charging him with a bunch of charges the biggest being 2 counts of attempted murder, I just got relaesed from the hosptial today and my co-worker gets released tomorrow.. we are both in pretty good shape and healing fast, I asked the doc about riding my quad and he said I absolutely cannot untill next summer he wants to wait for scar tissue and calcium to form around the bullet fragments so they cannot move around.. all I can say is I'm so thankfull for me and my friend to be alive.. OH and I thankfull for GOOD meds...

I was on a bunch of percocet when i wrote this, but now its over 4 months later, I'm just about completely recovered and so is my co-worker.. the kid who shot us is still sitting in juvi lockup till next month he has his certification hearing to see if he's gonna get charged as an adult or not... 

YFZ4FITTY: I don't think this one is as bad as yours but here goes.

Well I've had numerous accidents being quad related since I've been 11 years old. When I was 11, I was riding a Honda Fourtrax 350 utility quad and tryed to jump my mound system out in my backyard and actually ended up flying too far and flipped over the bars and shattered my Tibia and Fibia in my left leg. I shifted my growth plate off the normal location requiring surgery to place it back.. The surgeon told us that my leg would never grow because it scraped all of the growth plate tissue off stunting my growth in that leg. So here I sit with my right leg about 3/4" longer than the left..HEHE..

On to the next bad one; Well this one I'm going to have to tell you from what I heard happened since I was unconcious for 11 hours and don't remember a thing... So anyways, I guess I got on my sisters little blaster and tryed to rip down the road after my step brother on his RM125 as they headed for the track, and I had to make a 90 degree left turn and when I went to make the turn the quad must have stepped out a little bit turning left and I must have lost control and tank-slapped it. My mom explained that all she remembers seeing was the quad tumbling down the road barrel rolling as I got thrown off hitting the road at full speed (65 mph on Blaster). I hit the road and rolled until I actually flew off a 15-20 Ft embankment (drop) to where I finally landed in a hay field. My mom lost site of me at that point and got in her truck and drove over to where she said she seem me face down mangled from hitting the road. 911 was called and I was rushed to the ER where I got 2 MRI's and 2 CT scans for what they thought was a broken neck. I was knocked out for 11 total hours and when I woke up I had no feeling in my entire right side. At that point I was sent in for another MRI as they thought that something major was wrong. What they found was (3) nerves that were seperated in the right side of my neck going down to my right arm. It was later found out that my right wrist was broken and I was given a 10% chance of ever getting any feeling/movement back in my entire right arm. I was temporarily paralyzed for 7 months and underwent major therapy until finally at about the 9 month mark I was able to move my fingers and wrist, but wasn't able to lift my arm more than 15% of what is normal. After doing more and more therapy and testing they offered me surgery with a 50/50 chance of making it through the surgery to repair the nerves, and I denied it because of the high risk of death. Well after trying to use my right arm as much as possible (3) years later I have 85% movement and feeling back in my right arm and am back riding harder than ever. Injuries from that accident totalled out to : (3) torn nerves, (2) bulging disks (C4, C5), Broken Wrist , and my entire left side of my face was completely road rashed up from hitting the road at high speeds.

My third big accident was 2 summers ago, I was riding down to my track to practice and I had it pegged going around a turn 4 gear tapped when my ass end kicked out on me kinda like the incident above. I lost control, got thrown 50 ft and seperated my left shoulder, broken my left wrist and got a major concussion. Just to let everyone know serperate shoulders suck cuz to this day it still hurts like a biotch!!!

Overall I've had three broken wrists, torn tendons in my right hand, 3 broken fingers, 2 bulging disks in my back, 3 torn nerves, 1 seperated shoulder, 2 broken bones in my leg, 13 total concussions ( I have headaches everyday cuz of this), and one facial curtosy of the concrete!!!

I've been in numerous other little wrecks here and there usually once a ride but have been lucky not to get hurt bad enough to share. My nickname with alot of my friends is "crash" , which is kinda obvious of why..hehe.. Though I've been in life threating accidents, nothing can pull me from this sport and since, I've been riding harder, faster and smarter of course!!! Keep your eyes focused on riding and your throttle pinned, it will always turn out good... well it should at least~! HAHA....
