DSC: We didn’t just add another adjustment circuit to our current compression adjuster. No way, our engineers completely redesigned our new DSC from scratch. With DSC, you can adjust the shock’s high and low speed compression damping by simply turning the external adjusters. This independent tuning of both compression circuits allows you to maximize small bump compliance and traction while still having the extra damping required for those big hits. And that’s not all; we designed DSC to be backwards compatible with our current concentric compression adjuster shocks...so up-grading is easy. DSC is available on both FLOAT X EVOL and PODIUM X shocksHere is a pic of the "new" Fox Evols. These shocks feature all of the same adjustments as the original ones, but also have Hi / Lo speed compression settings to better the shock for the advanced racer.
I would like to see how the new version works different from the previous version. From what i've heard, its the same exact shock, all they did was add on the Hi/Lo compression settings. I actually think the original shock probably has the ability to add on the Hi and Lo settings, but I'm unsure of that.
Psssstttt... by the way, I've got some inside info on the "new" Motowoz shocks... Can't say anything yet, but I'd wait til they come out before you decide to go with anything different. It should be worth the wait!!!
