When trying to ride or race your quad to its full potential, the last thing you want to have to worry about is debris damaging your most vital part of your atv, the motor. In stock form the YFZ450 does not have the proper protection needed to insure that your motor won't be pelted with rocks, mud and from withstanding bottoming.
We are proud to introduce this hand-built FourWerx Motorsports Carbon Fiber YFZ 450 engine skidplate. This skidplate is built 100% from the highest quality Carbon Fiber available on the market. It is 24% thicker than the competition and features a super high gloss finish to give your machine that clean finish we all look for.
You will be given two options when buying the skidplate.. You can either get them drilled for both the mounting holes and oil drain plug hole, or just drilled for the mounting holes. (The advantage of not having the drain plug hole is to reduce the amount of debris that gets packed into that hole....When you drain your oil, you will simply just have to remove the (4) mounting bolts)
These plates will be available for the 04-07 YFZ450 at the end of March...Final pricing had yet to be decided, but they will be cheaper than the competitors carbon fiber plates.
