PROJECT- Phaze Four!!!!---All Out FreeRide Phazer

Hey guys,
I just picked up a 2007 Phazer FX. The sled is completely stock, with 730 miles. Project Phaze Four has begun immediately to transform this neat little sled into the perfect ditch banger! The light awesome chassis and torquey 4stroke motor has a ton of potential.. Here are the planned mods for this machine to take shape throughout the summer of 07':
Ulmer clutch kit-helix and weights
Ulmer Fuel Accelerator
Ulmer Ignition Advance
Custom Exhaust system (the stock system looks like an automobile muffler and weighs a TON) I will be taking a YFZ slip on, along with an Ulmer Y-Pipe to make a full aftermarket system. Planned weight savings will be around the 20 pound mark. Power should increase across the board and choosing the silencer wisely will keep at near stock DB's
Yamaha Phazer MTN Lite Skis-Better flotation in the deep ditch snow and drifts I am known to play in!
Standard Travel Elka Triple Rate piggyback YFZ Shocks-Ski susp.
Top Secret Skid Frame Modification, track included-Stay tuned to this, if it works, I will post up all the details!
Custom Nose piece-stay tuned, when this is done, I will post up pics and details.
Aftermarket pivoting riser, plus 2 inches.
White Phazer MTN Lite plastic
Relocated guage Pod
Here are some pics of the machine when I bought it and tore into it! (saturday 3-17) STAY TUNED!!

We all know that you love to be in the air, could you please elaborate on the suspension mods you will be doing up front?

No problemo!
I would like to run an aftermarket A-Arm if available. I emailed ARS-FX inquiring about future plans.
I plan on running standard travel shocks made for the Yamaha YFZ as they are similiar in length to the Phazer shocks. My preferance would be elka triple rate piggybacks, but specifcs haven't been decided yet. I also plan a removal of the sway bar to help in off camber landings.

Sounds great Frank, I really cannot wait to see more progress on this and also in person.

Keep us posted on plans and load this thread with pics.

Thanks, Jay
