Whats the difference 600 VES and 600 HO??


I'm just wondering if someone can tell us what the differences are between these two motors are..... 600 VES and 600 H.O.

The ho has larger crankcase volume along with larger reed cage.

The port timing has been adjusted also (a little different cylinder porting)

The cooling system has also been improved via rate of flow and head design.

From what I understand the cyclinders can actually be swapped between the two motors.

So if someone was in need of some older ves cylinders and found a set for the Ho they would go on easily and you may even gain a pony or two.

How do you like your 660 kit?  Back when i had my IQ I had a VES motor that i wanted to do the Big Bore kit on..

Once you have ridden a smallblock bigbore, it would be hard to go back.

I started with a ported.piped 600 and there is no comparison!
